April Event Features Two Days of Racing

(Macon, Illinois – November 30, 2015) – Officials from the Champion Racing Association, the Southern Super Series, and Track Enterprises, the promoting entity for the April ARCA event at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville, have announced a huge two-day show that will take place in April of 2016.  The weekend will see two days of racing for the two Super Late Model series, as they join the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards in the early season event.

Last year, Track Enterprises brought the ARCA Racing Series back to Nashville for the first time in 20+ years.  Along with ARCA, the Southern Super Series ran a 100-lap event that saw 26 cars put on a thrilling race.  NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver, Daniel Hemric, claimed the win in exciting fashion.

This year, the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by JEGS will be added to the weekend show for a can’t miss event.  Friday, April 8 will see a doubleheader, featuring point races for both series.  Those events will also be qualifiers for the Saturday, April 9 combined North/South Super Late Model challenge.

“The 2015 event was highly successful, especially for how late everything was put together and the fact that CRA was racing at Toledo the same day.  Having two top-tier Super Late Model tours together, in addition to the national touring series of ARCA, will make this a can’t miss racing event in the Music City”, stated Track Enterprises promoter Bob Sargent.

The weekend will be capped off by a 200-lap ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards feature event.  The 2015 race was won by eventual series champion Grant Enfinger. The Menards Pole Award went to Kyle Weatherman, the eventual SCOTT Rookie of the Year.

In 2016, the ARCA Racing Series will once again have their 200 lap feature on Saturday, April 9.  The Super Late Models will have hotlaps, qualifying, and their respective point races on Friday, with a combined event Saturday.

More details on the doubleheader weekend will be announced as the winter progresses.  For further information, visit www.trackenterprises.com, www.southernsuperseries.com, www.cra-racing.com, or www.fairgroundsspeedwaynashville.com.
