FROM ARCA…

(TOLEDO, Ohio – June 21, 2015) – Discount tickets for the July 24 Sioux Chief PowerPex 200 at Lucas Oil Raceway are now on sale at 20 Menards stores in Indiana. The tickets are being offered for $10 off the gate price.

The Sioux Chief PowerPEX® 200 is scheduled for 9 p.m. Friday, July 24. The race will once again be part of a huge weekend of auto racing in the Indianapolis area with a lineup that includes USAC, ARCA and NASCAR.

The on-track activities at Lucas Oil Raceway, located just outside of the city of Indianapolis, will include USAC open wheel racing action on Thursday, July 23, with the ARCA/CRA Super Series and ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards stock car doubleheader on Friday, July 24. The NASCAR XFinity and NASCAR Sprint Cup series will race the same weekend at nearby Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Gates will open at 12:45 p.m. on July 24 with Menards Pole Qualifying at 5:30 p.m., driver introductions at 8:30 and the Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 at 9 p.m.

“The track has a history of producing great, exciting racing and the ARCA Racing Series event Friday July 24 under the lights will surely add to that tradition,” said ARCA President Ron Drager. “Everyone associated with our series really looks forward to returning to Lucas Oil Raceway.”

ARCA’s appearance in the Indianapolis area is also important for the series and it’s presenting sponsor, Menards. Indianapolis is the fifth-largest retail market for Menards, which has 287 stores in 14 Midwestern states.

The Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 will mark ARCA’s fourth appearance in the last five years, and sixth overall visit to the .686-mile oval. The recent ARCA events have all been sponsored by Menards suppliers.

“The combined effort by ARCA, the track, and Menards, to welcome Sioux Chief as a vendor partner is what is allowing this to happen this summer,” said Mark Gundrum, Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships.

Indiana stores slated to sell the discount tickets include locations in Anderson, Avon, Bloomington, Camby, Carmel, Columbus, Greenwood, Kokomo, Lafayette, Lebanon, Muncie, Richmond, Terre Haute, West Lafayette, three in Indianapolis and three in Fort Wayne.
