July 24 Event Will Feature 300 Laps Of Racing Action

(Indianapolis, IN – July 9, 2015) Officials from Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis and Track Enterprises in Macon, IL have announced that advance reserved tickets are on sale for the July 24 event.  The Friday night race will feature the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards and the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by JEGS.

This will mark the second year in-a-row and the eleventh overall for the ARCA Racing Series at the popular facility.   Davey Allison, Ramo Stott, Bob Schacht, Ty Dillon, and Frank Kimmel are some of the drivers who have found victory lane in ARCA races at LOR.  Last year, Brandon Jones took the win over Austin Wayne Self, Frank Kimmel, Grant Enfinger, and Matt Tifft.  A strong field of 32 cars took the green flag.

In addition to the Sioux Chief PowerPEX® 200 presented by Federated Car Care, the ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models will also compete in a 100-lap affair presented by Greg Hubler Chevrolet.  Last year’s Super Series event was a thriller with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor, John Hunter Nemechek leading until the final lap.  After many laps of following closely, NASCAR star Kyle Busch dove to the inside in turn four, the two traded paint, and Busch won in a photo finish.

“The track has a history of producing great, exciting racing and the ARCA Racing Series event Friday, July 24 under the lights will surely add to that tradition,” said ARCA President Ron Drager. “Everyone associated with our series really looks forward to returning to Lucas Oil Raceway.”

Grandstands will open on Friday, July 24 at 12:45 with qualifying at 5:30, and racing action at 7:00.

Advance reserved tickets are available at a $5 discount by calling Track Enterprises at 217-764-3200.  For more information, feel free to visit the event promotion company at www.trackenterprises.com or like them on Facebook.
