DuQUOIN, Ill. – NASCAR star Ken Schrader will be going for a pair of wins Monday when he hits the track at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds for the ARCA Southern Illinois 100 for stock cars and the Bill Oldani Memorial for UMP Modifieds.

Schrader starts on the front row alongside polesitter Joe Walsh, of Fenton, Mo., which is also Schrader’s hometown. Jonathan Rowan of Jackson, Tenn., and Curt Rhodes of Taylorville, Ill.,  occupy the second row with Davids Shain of Humboldt., Ill., filling out the top five.

Schrader is also the defending champion in the Southern Illinois 100.

The Southern Illinois 200 is the second time this season the ARCA Racing Series hits the dirt, after Kevin Swindell took the checkered flag at the SuperChevyStores.com 100 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield in mid-August. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. Monday with practice at 9. Qualifying is set for 11:15 and the modified feature starts at noon. The Southern Illinois 100 is set for a 1:30 p.m. start.
