DuQUOIN, Ill. — The cars have hit the track for practice prior to the ARCA Southern Illinois 100 at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. With the rain dissipating in Southern Illinois, the program is on schedule, and the track looks fabulous for a great day of racing.

The breeze in the grandstands makes it even more cmortable at the scenic DuQuoin Mile. NASCAR star Ken Schrader will go for two wins today. He is the defending champ of the Southern Illinois 100, and he starts on the front row of the Bill Oldani Memorial for UMP modifieds.

Qualifying for the Southern Illinois 100 is set for 11:15 a.m. with the modified feature at noon. The Southern Illinois 100 in the ARCA Racing Series takes the green flag at 1:30 p.m.
