SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – After a sudden afternoon shower halted the program and a misting rain caused even more delays and worsened track conditions, the USAC Tony Bettenhausen 100 for Silver Crown cars was postponed Saturday afternoon.

USAC and Track Enterprises will reschedule the event. Look at Trackenterprises.com, Maconracing.com and USACracing.com for announcements on rescheduling the event. The sanctioning body and the promoters plan to return when better weather allows the star-studded field a chance to return to give us all some amazing racing.

Track Enterprises and USAC appreciated everyone’s patience Saturday while we worked hard to prepare the track, and we will work just as hard to get this race rescheduled. With such a premier field, it’s important to drop the green flag on this race.
