2021 ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Silver Anniversary Schedule Released

Track Enterprises Hosting Events At Salem Speedway & Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

Salem, Indiana (December 22, 2020): Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS has officially released the 2021 Schedule for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS. The ARCA/CRA Super Series 2021 season will consist of 15 total races, with 12 of those being point events. 2021 will be the 25thseason of competition for the Template Super Late Model touring series that first raced in 1997.

“We are really excited about the 2021 schedule and celebrating the 25^th season of racing with the ARCA/CRA Super Series,” remarked R.J. Scott, Managing Partner of CRA. “Our 25th season will provide our drivers with a great variety of challenging races on some of the best racetracks in the nation, with some of the most prestigious late model events in the country!”

CRA will continue the Chase for the Championship format for determining a series champion for the 2021 season. The playoff format has produced more teams competing for a championship in every CRA division since CRA started using that format in 2017.

The 2021 racing season kicks off with the traditional non-points opener for both the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour with CRA SpeedFest 2021 at Crisp Motorsports Park in Cordele, Georgia on Saturday, January 23^rd. The ARCA/CRA Super Series race will be a 200-lap event, counting yellow flag laps up to lap 175. This event has traditionally attracted the best Super Late Model drivers from both the North and the South in this early season battle.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series will then kick off its 2021-point season on Saturday, April 10^th at Anderson Speedway, located in Anderson, Indiana, with a 125-lap event, the first of two events on the fast quarter mile oval that has hosted more series events than any other track.

The series will then head to Southern Indiana to one of the original tracks that formed the series back in 1997 Salem Speedway, located in Salem, Indiana, for an event on Sunday, April 25^th. The series last raced at Salem Speedway in June of 2009 were Johnny VanDoorn went to victory lane. The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will also be in action at that event.

The series will then head to the famous Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee for a 100-lap event on Saturday, May 8^th. The event will be a co-sanctioned event with the Southern Super Series and the CARS Tour, and the race program will include a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event.

The series will then head to the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway for the previously announced Fly Over States 150, a new event for the series that will be co-sanctioned by the ARCA Midwest Tour on Tuesday, May 18^th.

In this part of the season, the schedule has recently featured a visit to legendary Bristol Motor Speedway. Unfortunately, The U.S. Short Track Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway will be missing from the 2021 schedule. Bristol officials released the following statement: “As Bristol Motor Speedway continues to develop its unprecedented 2021 schedule with unique opportunities and first-time NASCAR dirt races, we continue to work with current partners on alternative dates and options. At this time, we have not found a mutually agreeable date in 2021 for the U.S. Short Track Nationals event, but our intentions are to continue working with CRA and partners for its return in 2022.”

On Wednesday, June 9^th the series will head to Berlin Raceway, in Marne, Michigan for the high paying Money in the Bank 150. This will be a special non-points CRA sanctioned event again in 2021.

The series is tentatively scheduled to return to Michigan for its next event at Flat Rock Speedway on Saturday, June 19^th, a track that has produced some great series racing.

The series will then visit Jennerstown Speedway in the state of Pennsylvania over July 4^th Weekend again in 2021. CRA will co-sanction the 200 lap $20,000 to win event with the CARS Tour on Saturday, July 3^rd. There will also be a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event as part of the program that weekend.

On Monday, July 12^th the series returns to Anderson Speedway for the famed Redbud 400. The Redbud 400 has become one of the signature Super Late Model events in the country.

The series will head back to Michigan for a new event at Birch Run Speedway in Birch Run, Michigan on Saturday, July 31^st. The series last raced at Birch Run in 2012, when three time series Champion Johnny VanDoorn went to victory lane. The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and Victory Custom Trailers CRA Junior Late Models will be part of this huge new event at Birch Run.

The series will stay in Michigan for the Battle at Berlin 251 event on Saturday, August 21^st at Berlin Raceway. That event will once again be a combo points event for the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and the Berlin Raceway Super Late Models. This event will be the first Chase event for the series in 2021.

The series will then have a return visit to the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway located in Winchester, Indiana for the traditional Labor Day Weekend event, with the feature on Sunday, September 5^th. The show will go to a Saturday/Sunday format for 2021, with a built-in rain date on Monday. This event will be the second Chase event for the series.

The series will then visit Toledo Speedway on Saturday, September 18^th for a $5,000 to win 100 lap event, as part of the famed Glass City 200, which will also include a 100 lap event for the outlaw-bodied ARCA Late Models. That event will be the third Chase event for the series.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series will crown their 2021 Tour Champion with the 50th running of the prestigious Winchester 400 on Sunday, October 17^th, in its third visit of the season to Winchester Speedway. It will be a unique and exciting weekend as CRA celebrates is 25^th champion, and Winchester Speedway celebrates the winner of its 50^th event running.

The series will close out the year as part of the famed All American 400 Weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Sunday, October 31^st after a very successful return to the series schedule in 2020. This will be a co-sanctioned non-points event with the Southern Super Series, CARS Tour and the ARCA/Midwest Tour.
