ARCA Midwest Tour To Headline June 16 Event

(Milwaukee, WI) Much to the delight of diehard race fans, ready for the return of racing to the Milwaukee Mile, tickets are now on sale for the Sunday, June 16, 2019 event.  Tickets may be purchased online, over the phone, or at the Wisconsin State Fair Park box office.

It was announced in late November that racing would return to the historic venue, as Track Enterprises, a racing promotion company based in Macon, IL, put together a deal to bring the popular one-mile facility back to life for the first time since 2015.  Joining the ARCA Midwest Tour will be the Vintage Indycars from the Vintage Indy Registry, the Mid Am Stock Cars, Mid American Truck Series, and the Upper Midwest Vintage Series.

Advance sale reserved tickets are available for $25 each, while children 11 and under are $5.  Advance sale general admission tickets are the same price at $25 each.  Pit passes and infield parking/tickets will be available on race day.

Practice will begin Sunday, June 16 at 9:30 AM, with qualifying at 11:00 AM, and racing at 1:00 PM.  The ARCA Midwest Tour 100 is slated to start around 3:00 PM.  An additional open practice for all divisions in addition to a street drag event will be held on Saturday, June 15.

About Milwaukee Mile:

The Milwaukee Mile is the oldest operating motor speedway in the world, opening in 1903 and hosting major racing events through 2015.  Auto racing icon A.J. Foyt competed in more races at the legendary oval than any other facility.  It is the largest, most storied oval track in the state.  Many Wisconsin short track racers have stated that getting to race there is their equivalent to racing at Daytona International Speedway.  The track is located at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, WI, a suburb directly west of Milwaukee.
