(West Allis, Wisconsin) Returning to the historic Milwaukee Mile for the first time in 14 years, the ARCA Menards Series will find their way back for the Sprecher 150 on Sunday, August 29th. The show is set to be a quadruple header of racing action featuring the Mid-Am Racing Series, Big 8 Racing Series, Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series, and the main event, the ARCA Menards Series Sprecher 150.

This will be the second race of the season at the Milwaukee Mile. The first event on June 20th was a nail biter with a full field of Super Late Models and Trucks battling their way around the mile track. Chances of rain made the day even more intense with the ARCA Midwest Tour and Midwest Trucks finishing their features before rain ended the day for the other two classes. However, those two classes will be making up their races this Sunday with the Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series getting a feature before and after the ARCA Menards Series race.

The ARCA Menards Series has been an absolute grudge match between two of the sports youngest up and comers. Ty Gibbs and Corey Heim have gone back and forth week-after-week. After their double header in Michigan and Springfield this past weekend, there is scant a one-point difference in the standings. Both drivers dominated in their own way, with Gibbs taking home the trophy on the asphalt at Michigan and Heim taking home the trophy on the magical dirt of Springfield. They will now look to the historic Milwaukee Mile to try and edge their way above their competitors with just five more races remaining in this intense season.

The Milwaukee Mile has seen a whole host of legendary drivers race around the asphalt looking to tame one of the fastest miles in the world, and this Sunday the sports next generations of legends will get their chance to prove their worth. The Sprecher 150 will be a can’t miss event with a full day of racing beginning with practice at 9:15am and the Big 8 feature at 12:00 with the ARCA Menards feature beginning at 2:00pm. Grandstands will open at 9:00am and tickets can be purchased on race day.

For discounted tickets you can also visit any Milwaukee area Menards stores to purchase advance sale tickets. The title sponsor of the race, Sprecher Root Beer is doing a special promotion for the event giving away a free ticket with every purchase of specially marked cases of Sprecher Root Beer. Just bring your paper receipt to the Wisconsin State Fair box office before the race to receive your ticket and a free pair of cool Menards sunglasses. You can also redeem your receipt for a ticket on race day at the Expo Center Tickets Office.
