Open Practice Time Added to Thursday Prior Events

Salem, IN (July 8, 2016) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that CSX Play It Safe will be the Presenting Sponsor of the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Circle City 100 at the famed Lucas Oil Raceway, just West of Indianapolis, on Friday, July 22nd. The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards will also be in action on that Friday night in the Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 Presented by Jive. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor John Hunter Nemechek was the winner of last year’s Circle City 100, he is one of the first entries to defend his win in the 2016 event.

Open practice time for the ARCA/CRA Super Series teams has been added to the USAC Silver Crown Champ Car Series event on Thursday, July 21st. Pit gates will open at 2pm on Thursday, there will be a 45 minute open practice session for the ARCA/CRA Super Series teams from 4:15pm until 5pm, then a 30 minute session from 6:45pm until 7:15pm. Teams will be allowed to keep their equipment in the pits overnight on Thursday. The ARCA/CRA Super Series teams will have a 45 minute and a 30 minute practice session on race day, Friday, July 22nd, prior to qualifying for the Circle City 100 Presented by CSX Play It Safe.
