Nation’s Best Ready For 25th Annual Clyde Hart Memorial

New Smyrna, FL – The ASA STARS National Tour will make its debut at the prestigious New Smyrna Speedway on Tuesday February 13th for the 25th running of the Clyde Hart Memorial. The tri-sanctioned event with the ASA STARS National Tour, ASA Southern Super Series, and the David Rogers Super Late Models features an impressive field of over 40 cars featuring drivers from 17 states and Ontario Canada that are ready to do battle on the action packed half-mile. The event features a 200 lap feature paying $15,000 to the winner and $1,500 to start the main event.

The ASA STARS National Tour Clyde Hart Memorial will be a part of the 56th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. Night number 1 of the World Series of Asphalt takes place on Friday, February 9th and runs 9 consecutive nights, closing out on Saturday the 17th with the David Rogers Super Late Models Orange Blossom 100.

The 2024 Clyde Hart Memorial is shaping up to be one for the record books with an event high total payout as well as the most entries in the event’s history. A blend of drivers with ties to NASCAR, career short track aces, and rising stars looking to make a name for themselves will all be in action at New Smyrna Speedway. Headlining the Clyde Hart entry list is 2020 NASCAR Cup Champion Chase Elliott. Elliott is no stranger to victory lane in Southern Super Series competition, finding victory lane 3 times in a limited number of starts.

“We are thrilled to work with the Hart family and everyone at New Smyrna Speedway to make this a must see event. Clyde Hart was huge on getting the drivers from the north and the south to come together and battle it out here at New Smyrna. Although Clyde is no longer with us, his legacy will live on for years to come.” stated ASA STARS National Tour Owner Bob Sargent.
