DuQuoin, IL (Sept 2, 2013)-Jesse Snyder of Palestine, Illinois wanted a win in the Bill Oldani Memorial UMP Modified race so bad he was willing to do just about anything except wreck another racer as he allowed a clean pass by Ken Schrader on lap 16 and the NASCAR star went on to a popular victory in the 20-mile event.  Schrader followed that up with a win in the subsequent ARCA 100-mile stock car race.

Snyder led the opening 15 circuits as he and Schrader dueled around the mile in an entertaining display of driving before Schrader took the lead on the 16th circuit. Taylorville’s Curt Rhodes was third.
