(Salem, IN and Pensacola, FL) – Officials from the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the Southern Super Series Presented by Sunoco have released the entries to date for the North/South Super Late Model Challenge 100 Presented by Team Construction, which will take place at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville on April 7th & 8th. The event will be the second time the two series have co-sanctioned an event together, last year’s North/South Super Late Model Challenge at Nashville was the first.

2016 North/South Super Late Model Challenge winner and 2016 Southern Super Series Champion Donnie Wilson tops the list of 27 talented entries to date for the event. Wilson looks to add to add a fourth Nashville victory to his racing accomplishments and another Nashville Guitar Trophy to his trophy case. Wilson also won the Southern Super Series 50 lap feature that was part of last year’s North/South Super Late Model Challenge.

Also entered is NASCAR Legend Sterling Marlin from Columbia, Tennessee. The two time Daytona 500 winner captured 10 wins with 216 top 10’s and 11 pole awards during his NASCAR Cup Series career. The multi time track Champion at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville is still a regular competitor at that track in their Pro Late Model Division and competes in selected JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour events.

2016 ARCA/CRA Super Series Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year Dalton Armstrong is entered. Armstrong won the 50 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series feature event that was part of last year’s North/South Super Late Model Challenge at Nashville. Armstrong became the first ever series rookie to win a series season opening event. Armstrong also won the prestigious Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway last season.

2013 and 2014 ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Travis Braden is entered. The 2016 Winchester 400 winner is seeking his first win at Nashville. Braden scored an ARCA Racing Series victory in his first ever series start in July of 2015 at Lucas Oil Raceway.

Three time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Johnny Van Doorn is entered, along with third in all time ARCA/CRA Super Series wins Brian Campbell. Both of those Michigan drivers won a Nashville All American 400 Guitar Trophy in 2007, Van Doorn for the Super Late Model portion, Campbell for the Pro Late Model portion, when the event was split into twin 200 lap events.

Two time 2016 Southern Super Series winner Cole Anderson from Minnesota is entered. Anderson finished fourth in 2016 Southern Super Series points and will be teaming with famed crew chief Bond Suss on his quest to win a Nashville Guitar Trophy. Fellow Minnesota native Joey Miller is also entered. Miller is a former ARCA Racing Series winner and a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor.

Other top late model drivers from around the country who are entered include Arkansas racers Dennis Schoenfeld and Cole Rouse, Wisconsin’s Dennis Prunty, Florida’s Stephen Nasse, Georgia racers Paul Kelly, Kyle Plott and Chandler Smith, California’s Tyler Ankrum, Indiana racers Eddie Van Meter, Jack Dossey III, Wes Griffith Jr., Cassten Everidge and Hunter Jack , Illinois  racer Austin Kunert, Kentucky’s Josh Brock, Alabama’s Connor Okrzesik, Ohio’s Logan Runyon, Tennessee’s Joseph Meyer and Canadian Jerry Artuso.

Teams are reminded that this Friday, March 24th is the deadline to enter and receive the discounted advanced entry fee. Teams running for points with the ARCA/CRA Super Series or that reside North of Nashville should enter with the entry form from the ARCA/CRA Super Series. Teams running for points with the Southern Super Series or that reside South of Nashville should enter with the entry form from the Southern Super Series.

The North/South Super Late Model Challenge 100 Presented by Team Construction will consist of a three hour optional open practice on Friday, April 7th. There will be another hour of practice on Saturday, April 8th, followed by qualifying, a Last Chance race if needed, and then the North/South Super Late Model Challenge 100 Presented by Team Construction which will consist of a field of 32 cars that will pay $5000 to win and a coveted Nashville Guitar Trophy for the winner. The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards will also be in action on Saturday with a 200 lap event after the North/South Super Late Model Challenge 100.
